19/08/2025

Ta Dung Lake, also known as Dong Nai 3 Hydropower Reservoir, is the main water storage for the hydropower system. The lake spans a vast area, extending into Lam Dong province. With its poetic and romantic scenery, it is often called the “Ha Long Bay of the Central Highlands.” The climate here remains pleasantly cool and comfortable throughout the year.

Around Ta Dung Lake are multi-ethnic villages of the Ma, Kinh, and Mnong people, who mainly rely on farming and fishing. Visitors can discover the unique local cultures and enjoy traditional specialties of the Central Highlands, such as com lam (bamboo-cooked rice), ruou can (fermented rice wine drunk through long straws), and grilled chicken.
